A collection of writing and images to accompany the exhibition of This is Your Inheritance. This Is Your Inheritance is participatory project that ran for 2 years, involved over 130 women and culminated in the printing of textile banners created using 70 meters of fabric.

'You Still Have the Sky' by Haworth-based artist Letty McHugh is a limited edition micro-commission, created as part of the Museum's Contemporary Writing programme and printed exclusivley for the Brontë Festival of Women's Writing.

In this beautiful and personal work, Letty explores how living with chronic illness has shaped her relationship with nature, her connection to local wild places, and how it feels to be a writer with the Brontë sisters as neighbours.
